The questions worth answering first.
What happens to my third trip when the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. Trips over the free limit become read-only: you can still open them, read them and export them as PDFs. Archive or delete one and the next comes back to life, or subscribe and they all do.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The 30 days start when you create the account and end on their own. There's nothing to cancel and no reminder email pretending to be helpful.
What does cancelling do to my data?
You go back to the Free plan and keep everything. Your share pages stop working and your places over your first 25 become read-only, but nothing is deleted. Export whatever you like as a PDF first.
Is the assistant included, or metered?
Included in Pro, with rate limits. It's off until you turn it on, and it can't change your trip without you pressing Apply.
Why £3? That's very cheap.
Because I built RPlan to solve a problem I had, and after some feedback from friends and family, decided to make it public so it can help others. Unfortunately third party data (Google Place lookups, AI Models and map tiles) all charge based on usage, so the Pro price offsets that and nothing else.
What if you stop running it?
A fair question. As mentioned elsewhere, I built RPlan to solve a problem I had, I use it to plan all my own trips, and with the Pro features offsetting the cost themselves, there's no reason for me to close down the project. Additionally, every trip exports to a PDF you keep, at any time, free plan included. So the worst case is you leave with your data rather than losing it.
